Thanks for this useful and well developed free app ! ;-)
Saves hours of time - I did upgrade to Turbo Collage 6 pretty quickly as its really not much money to get complete functionality and save tons of time. I can’t rate it directly because I upgraded but I give that a 10! Really, really good!
I reveied this app a few years ago & I wish it has made significant improvement, but it seems the same. There is so much this app could and should do, that they haven’t added. For example - let users set the angle of photos directly. It is remarkably difficult to make a given photo have 0 degrees of rotation! Please update! Here is my old review, from when I gave it 5 stars. ------ I tried several collage apps & this is the one I liked the best. I used the free version first (Collage Creator Lite) & really enjoyed it. This paid version seems to have some really great additional features. I hope they keep working on it an improving it. Here are some suggestions: - the biggest problem I have is that the Picture Pile template should have a setting that automatically covers up the entire background. I spend most of my time resizing & moving images to accomplish this - its hould be programmatic. - Make your application window a real, resizable normal Mac window. - Add the ability to star-rate (like in iTunes) the images & thus effect which get displayed more prominently & less prominently. All in all, a great and useful app - thanks!
This app is easy to use, fast and creates beautiful collages! Get it!
I know Photoshop well, but for quick collages, this is by far the best. I love, love, love it for digital camera AND phone camera pics! LOVE!
just downloaded the app, so far so nice...
I have tried 3 other collage apps, but this one beats them all! Seriously! It gives you much more flexibility to position and size your photos just the way you want.
I love this thing!
This app has been very handy. I like the ease of use and variety of features. I would like to be able to adjust the size of the file I save. The app typically saves as a very large file I have to make smaller. If there is a built in feature that allows me to select the file size, I have not found it.
Weve been using it for about 6 months now and its really a great tool for a photo studio like ours. This lets us create great promotional pieces and event posters. Our customers love them and ask for more. Were busy doing more poster work and these collages come in handy. Especially if youre going to do posters for an event and you want to summarize the tons of photos youve done at past events for this group. We cant be happier with it. If youre thinking about creating posters or just slick mashups of images for you or clients, this a great tool to do it fast. We love being able to pick a folder worth of photos and then just being able to dump them into the program and with a bit of massaging, youve got a poster!
VERY easy to work with. Creates a great list of memories.
The app is awesome except for one key feature. I want to be able to have several pictures in the waiting area (part of app that holds the pictures being used in a given collage) without the app automatically putting all of those pictures into the specific collage that I am working on. I want to be able to manually select which pictures in the waiting area, if any, will be part of the specific collage I am working on. Perhaps this is a problem unique to the way I am using the app? I am trying to basically take a given picture of a product I sell and create 3 separate collages: one showing the product by itself, a second collage of the product duplicated to show a “2-pack”, and a third collage showing the picture as a “3-pack.” I also add text to the image and want that text to remain in place to be used on each of the pictures. I’d like to be able to just drag all of my images to the waiting area and make my 3 collages of each picture one by one. But as of now I can only keep one picture in the waiting area at a time so it just drags the process out for me as I constantly have to drag and drop one picture at a time.
I’ve been doing slide shows in Move Maker for awhile and I just love being able to put more than one picture in a collage for the slide show. Would love to be able to crop in the “picture pile” mode. I may even use this to do digital scrap booking … Also, I’d like to be able to export to iPhoto directly.
If you want to do a bunch of specific things to your pictures, get Photoshop or InDesign. if you want to make fun collages quick, this is fantastic. I love it.
You can enlarge what is in each frame area but not shrink to fit. You can not resize the frame areas to suit your needs either. You have to keep hitting shuffle to get a different pattern. 5 bucks… eh.
This app is very helpful to put simple collages together quickly. You can zoom and pan into each of your pics. Unfortunately you cannot create a certain layout if you want to - e.g. three pictures in “Zig Mosaic” mode or “Mosaic” mode: I want one picture on top and two side by side on the bottom - that is not possible - the automatic layout will always choose two pics on the left on top of each other and one on the right … maybe sth for future releases ...
Can’t print them off. All but one have come back unprintable and now all of them I make only view as the 1st one I made. Can’t figure out what’s wrong.
Turbo Collage has been useful for creating display banners, and anything that needs a builtin caption for printing. Totally self explanatory, easy to size, lots of font options, easy and fun to use!
Thank you so much for developing an app to do what I used to do in MS Paint, but so much more elegantly! Keep the awesome work!
Would be great if you could change the placement of photo’s front to back - also if you had a few additional templates - it is easy to use, easy to manipulate - would like to be able to adjust the “frames” a little better i.e: shape vs. changing picture orientation - USE it A LOT!!! Keep up the great mods you have a winne!
